How to Modify Your POP3/IMAP User Name
The information below is for editing your POP3/IMAP user/account name, incoming server address and the option to not store messages on the server. Provided are screenshots for:
This article is intended to help customers that need to update their user name because of the upcoming E-mail server change scheduled for May 22nd, 2009.
In your account settings you should see a place where you have your E-mail address, user name, password and incoming mail server address.
- Do not change your E-mail address.
- Your user name should look like your email address except it should have a # sign where your @ sign is. Simply replace the # sign with the new % sign. If your user name uses the @ sign and not the # sign, then you do not need to make this change.
- Do not change your password
- Make sure your incoming mail server is set to mail.atlantisnet.com

From the main toolbar, click on Tools, E-mail Accounts..., select View or change existing e-mail accounts, Next >, select your e-mail account in the list, Change...

From the previous window, click on the More Settings ... button, Advanced tab.
